Installing the Expansion-Card Connector CAUTION: Many repairs may only be done by a certified service technician. You should only perform troubleshooting and simple repairs as authorized in your product documentation, or as directed by the online or telephone service and support team. Read and follow the safety instructions that came with the product. 1 Place the expansion-card connector into the expansion-card bracket. See Figure 3-11. 2 Replace the two screws securing the expansion-card connector to the expansion-card bracket. See Figure 3-11. 3 Install the expansion card. See "Installing the Expansion Card" on page 77. 4 Replace the system-board assembly. See "Installing a System-Board Assembly" on page 69. 5 Reconnect the system to its electrical outlet and turn on the system, including any attached peripherals.
