The brackets also keep dust and dirt out of the system and aid in proper cooling and airflow inside the system. 3. Holding the card on the edges, align the card with the expansion card connector on the system board. 4. Press the expansion card firmly into the expansion card connector on the system board until the card is fully seated. 5.
