Remove the air shroud. NOTE: Ensure that you note the routing of the cables as you remove them from the system board. Route these cables properly when you replace them to prevent them from being pinched or crimped. NOTE: The procedure to remove the USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 modules is similar. Steps 1. Disconnect the USB cable from the USB connector on the system board. For more information, see the System board jumpers and connecters section. 2. Using Phillips #1 screwdriver, remove the screws on the USB module. 3. Slide the module out of the system until it is free of the USB module slot on the front panel. Figure 100. NOTE:
Ensure that you note the routing of the cables as you remove them from the system board. Route these
cables properly when you replace them to prevent them from being pinched or crimped.
NOTE:
The procedure to remove the USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 modules is similar.
Steps
1.
Disconnect the USB cable from the USB connector on the system board. For more information, see the System board jumpers and
connecters section.
2.
Using Phillips #1 screwdriver, remove the screws on the USB module.
3.
Slide the module out of the system until it is free of the USB module slot on the front panel.
