CAUTION Wear a wrist strap and use a static-dissipating work surface connected to the chassis when handling components. Ensure that the metal of the wrist strap contacts your skin. 6. Locate the video memory chip sockets (see Figure 6-1). 7. Carefully remove the video memory chips from their packaging. One by one, align the chips with the sockets, then push them down until they are entirely flat. NOTE The video memory chips must be installed in pairs. 8. Reassemble the NetServer LPr. NOTE To get a higher resolution display, you may have to load additional video drivers for the operating system. Reassemble the NetServer LPr.
NOTE
To get a higher resolution display, you may have to load
additional video drivers for the operating system. Refer to the
instructions that accompanied the video memory upgrade kit
as well as your NOS documentation.
