It is important to check this file before proceeding with the installation. Viewing the Readme File 1. Press the power-on button. Press the CD-ROM drive eject button. Place the HP NetServer Navigator CD-ROM in the drive, and press the eject button again to close the drive. NOTE Using the low profile CD-ROM drive is slightly different than full-height units. The disk drawer will spring out only part way when you push the eject button. You must manually pull the drawer open and manually close it after inserting a CDROM. Turn the power off, wait 10 seconds, and turn the power on again. If the system fails to boot, follow the diagnostic instructions on the screen. 2. Go to the HP Navigator main menu. If the language needs to be changed, select User Preferences and the language you want. You can also change the language of the BIOS when prompted. 3. Select Readme File. The Readme file contains the latest information to help you install your HP NetServer LPr. Read it carefully before beginning your installation.
