It might be damaged or incorrectly formatted. Inspect cartridge. Check for damage and leader alignment. See Chapter 2, "Operation, Tape Requirements." Disable cartridge write-protect switch. Cycle power to the drive using the AC switch on the front panel of the MiniLibrary system. Wait 30 seconds to power on again. Turn off power to the MiniLibrary system and inspect connectors and cables. Turn off power to the MiniLibrary system and check cabling to the DLT drives. Inspect the cables and connectors. Check cabling and configuration. See Chapter 3, Installation. and Chapter 4, "Configuration." Run diagnostic (x). Invalid operation. Select parameters correctly and try again. Call technical support. FSCs FSCs appear in the Fault screen described in Chapter 2. A descriptive message and instructions for clearing the fault accompany each FSC. When a fault persists, you should look up the FSC in Tables 6-2 through 6-10 to determine the error recovery procedure to be followed. Note that there are no crossovers from FSCs to ERPs. If you call Compaq Technical Support about a fault condition, be sure to furnish the FSC to aid in identifying the problem.
