Operation 2-13 Initialization Screens After POST completes, the library robotics system is initialized. A series of screens similar to the following appears during this process: COMPAQ TL89x Firmware Level 0X.xx Initializing Loader 26-Feb-19xx 15:35:59 Default Screen After the POST diagnostics have concluded successfully and initialization is complete, the system Default screen appears: READY Modules:0_ _ _ _ _ _ 0 ________ 9 10 _ _ _ _ 15 The numbers on the second line correspond to the Base Modules that are connected to the system. Up to five Base Modules can be connected. The third and fourth lines represent the cartridge magazine in the Expansion Unit. A rectangle appears in each position that contains a cartridge. An underline represents an empty slot. Fault Screen When a fault is detected within the Expansion Unit or the Pass-Through Mechanism (PTM), a screen similar to the following appears: Fault Code: XXXX Error Description ERP line 1 ERP line 2 When a fault is detected in one of the Base Modules, the Alert LED on the Expansion Unit control panel lights and the Fault screen appears on the malfunctioning Base Module. At the same time, either the Drive Fault or the Loader Fault LED lights on that module.
