Blinks while the tape cartridge loads and calibrates. After calibration, it remains lit. If the indicator remains on after a cleaning cartridge is unloaded, the drive heads were not adequately cleaned. Lights when the drive head needs cleaning or the current cleaning tape is bad. After unloading the cleaning tape cartridge, the indicator remains lit if the cleaning operation was not completed or the cleaning tape cartridge is bad. Lights when the insert/release handle is ready to operate. Rewinds the tape and prepares it for removal from the tape drive (press and hold for 2 seconds). IMPORTANT: The tape cartridge must be completely rewound before it can be ejected from the tape drive. This can take two minutes or more, depending on the media type and the tape position. NOTE: When all right-side indicators are steadily lit, a POST starts. When all right-side indicators blink, an error has occurred. To clear the error, press the Unload button.
