Diagnostics and Troubleshooting 6-21 Using System Diagnostics The system diagnostics are intended to be used by a CE or other technically trained person. To use system diagnostics: 1. At the Default screen, press the Enter button. The following screen appears: Load/Unload Show Status Menu Maintenance Menu Configure Menu 2. Press the button twice to move the next to Maintenance, then press the Enter button to select the Maintenance menu. A display similar to the following appears: Clean Drive Diagnostic Menu Demo Menu Flash Update 3. Press the Enter button to select the Diagnostic menu. The following screen appears: Cartridge Cycle Friction Test Tach Feedback Scanner Feedback You can scroll through this screen. The list of diagnostics available is as follows. I Cartridge Cycle I Friction Test I Tach Feedback I Scanner Feedback Of these selections, only Cartridge Cycle is intended for use in the field. The remaining tests are used during factory setup.
