CAUTION Wear a wrist-strap and use a static-dissipating work surface connected to the chassis when handling components. Ensure the metal of the wrist-strap contacts your skin. 2. Open the ZIF (Zero Insertion Force) lever completely to allow removal of the processor. 32

Open the heat sink release latches by pressing down on the latches and unhooking them from the heat sink
bracket. Then, remove the heat sink by lifting it. See

Removing the Processor
1.
If you have not removed the heat sink cooling fan assembly, do so now before continuing.
2.
Open the ZIF (Zero Insertion Force) lever completely to allow removal of the processor.
