If the "BT Audio Setting" item is set to "BT & SP," you can hear audio from both a connected Bluetooth® headset and the transceiver's speaker. See page 6-14 for details. DDAbout the VS-3 headset You can set the detailed settings of the optional VS-3 Bluetooth® headset. ••Key Beep (p. 6-14) (Menu > Bluetooth > Key Beep (VS-3)) Set a beep to sound when you push [PLAY], [FWD] or [RWD] on the VS-3. This setting is different from the transceiver's beep setting. When both settings are set to "ON," the beeps sound on the transceiver and the headset. ••Power Save (p. 6-14) (Menu > Bluetooth > P.Save (VS-3)) The Power Save function temporarily disconnects the Bluetooth® connection if no communication or operation is performed for 120 seconds, to prolong the VS-3's battery life. ••PTT Beep (p. 6-14) (Menu > Bluetooth > PTT Beep (VS-3)) Set a beep to sound when you push [PTT] on the VS3. This setting is different from the transceiver's beep setting. When both settings are set to "ON," the beeps sound on the transceiver and the headset. ••One-touch PTT (p. 6-14) (Menu > Bluetooth > One-touch PTT) The One-Touch PTT function enables you to toggle between transmit and receive by pushing [PTT]. 11-8
