■ Memory clearing Any unnecessary memory channels can be cleared. The cleared memory channels become blank channels. ➔ ➔ q P ush V/M to select memory mode. w R otate [M-CH] to select the desired memory channel to be cleared. • If the RIT control indicator lights orange, push M-CH/RIT SET . (p. 61) e P ush and hold M-CL for 1 sec. to clear the con- tents. • The programmed frequency and operating mode dis- appear and " " appears. • 3 beeps are emitted when memory clearing is suc- cessful. r T o return to VFO mode, push V/M .
