The printer uses PCL emulation to process the job if PCL SmartSwitch is On, or uses the default printer language specified in the Setup Menu if PCL SmartSwitch is Off. Printer waits to receive data from the computer. Printer sends a continuous stream of XONs to the host computer to indicate that the serial port is ready to receive more data. Disables job buffering. Any jobs already buffered on the disk are printed before normal processing of incoming jobs resumes. Printer automatically calculates the Serial Buffer size (recommended setting). User specifies the Serial Buffer size. The maximum size depends on the amount of memory in your printer, the size of the other link buffers, and whether Resource Save is set to On or Off.
