8 Other Features Extended display information The extended display information is comprised of 3 separate panels, controlling image quality (resolution), pan and tilt scanning, and image brightness. After selecting a panel and changing a setting, press [ENTER] to see apply the changes. Extended display Quality (resolution) panel Scan control panel Brightness panel Setting Description Quality Controls the resolution of the monitored image. Setting the resolution to low will shrink the displayed image. High: 640x480 pixels Low: 320x240 pixels Scan Control Controls the panning and tilting scans of the camera. Pan: pans the camera from its left to right extremes and back to the original position Tilt: tilts the camera from its top to bottom extremes and back to the original position Brightness Adjusts the brightness of the monitored image. -: Decreases the brightness STD: Sets the camera to the standard brightness level +: Increases the brightness Note • Other keys (including those for Camera List and Menu screen display) will not function while the extended display is displayed. To use these keys, press [ENTER] to change screens first. • In preset registration, the resolution and brightness set at registration will also be registered (see page 59). 124

Extended display information
The extended display information is comprised of 3 separate panels, controlling
image quality (resolution), pan and tilt scanning, and image brightness. After
selecting a panel and changing a setting, press [ENTER] to see apply the changes.
Note
Other keys (including those for Camera List and Menu screen display) will not
function while the extended display is displayed. To use these keys, press
[ENTER] to change screens first.
In preset registration, the resolution and brightness set at registration will also
be registered (see page 59).
Setting
Description
Quality
Controls the resolution of the monitored image.
Setting the resolution to low will shrink the displayed image.
High: 640x480 pixels
Low: 320x240 pixels
Scan
Control
Controls the panning and tilting scans of the camera.
Pan: pans the camera from its left to right extremes and back to
the original position
Tilt: tilts the camera from its top to bottom extremes and back to
the original position
Brightness
Adjusts the brightness of the monitored image.
-: Decreases the brightness
STD: Sets the camera to the standard brightness level
+: Increases the brightness
