16 Troubleshooting the BL-WV10A 16 Troubleshooting the BL-WV10A 16.1 Common Issues Issue Causes and Solutions The unit doesn't turn on. Is it plugged in correctly? The remote control doesn't work. Are the batteries good and installed correctly? Is the remote control receptor in direct sunlight? Is there an obstruction (including colored glass in a rack door) between the remote control and the receptor? Is the mode switch on the back of the BL-WV10A set to [SEQ. DISP.]? • Set the mode switch to [NORMAL] and turn the power on again. The remote control doesn't turn the TV on. Is the power button for the TV turned on? Is the correct manufacturer code set for the remote control? The unit doesn't seem to work. Is the power indicator flashing red? Did the buzzer sound 3 or more times? Remove the power cord from the AC adaptor and reinsert it.If this doesn't resolve the problem, contact your dealer. I forgot the administrator password and/or security code. Reset the BL-WV10A to its default settings. • With the power on, press and hold the FACTORY DEFAULT RESET button at the back of the BL-WV10A with a paper clip tip or similar object for 3 seconds. 16.2 Television Screen and Images Issue No image appears. The camera image doesn't appear. Causes and Solutions Check the video cable connection and the TV's input mode switch. The BL-WV10A cannot access the camera. • Check the camera's power and connections and its IP address as displayed in the Camera Settings. If the Ethernet cable is connected properly, the LAN indicator will be lit green. • If using wireless cameras, refer to the wireless communications information on page 6. 148

receptor?
Is the mode switch on the back of the BL-WV10A set
to [SEQ. DISP.]?
Set the mode switch to [NORMAL] and turn
the power on again.
The remote control
