6.4 Profile Editor The functions of the buttons on this screen are as follows: Button Save Cancel Function Saves the current profile information. Closes the current screen without saving the profile information. To create or edit a profile 1. From the Connect menu, select Profile Setup. The Profile Setup window (6.3 Profile Setup) will be displayed. 2. Click New or Edit. The Profile Editor window will be displayed. 3. Enter a name for this profile. 4. Enter the system password used to connect to the PBX. 5. Select the default connection method. 6. Enter the detailed connection method parameters as required. See the tables below for more information. It is possible to select connection methods other than the default method when connecting to the PBX using this profile. For this reason, you can choose to input parameters for both RS-232C and modem connection. Click the tabs to view the parameters for each type of connection. 7. Click Save.
