Settings The Settings menu allows you to configure your display, sounds, network preferences, security options, and more. Profile Profiles define properties for such things as ringtones, alerts, and the sounds your keypad makes whenever you press a key. Settings for each of the four available profiles can be left at default or edited to suit your needs. Select, edit, and/or use the appropriate profile for situations such as meetings, while driving, or when you are outdoors. 1. In standby mode, press the left soft key ( ) Menu. 2. Press (Settings), (Profile). The profiles in the following table appear in the display. Profile Normal Meeting Drive Outdoor Function The default profile. Ringtones, alerts, and other settings are set to typical levels necessary for normal operation. Ringtones and alarms are set to silent, or low-level so that others aren't disturbed when you receive a call. Default settings for ringtones and alarms are set to levels that will catch your attention while driving. Default settings for ring tones and alarms are set to Level 4. 3. The
Settings
menu allows you to configure your display,
sounds, network preferences, security options, and more.
Profile
Profiles define properties for such things as ringtones, alerts,
and the sounds your keypad makes whenever you press a
key. Settings for each of the four available profiles can be left
at default or edited to suit your needs. Select, edit, and/or use
the appropriate profile for situations such as meetings, while
driving, or when you are outdoors.
