Receive text messages When you receive a message in standby mode, the message tone sounds, (unless turned off), and New Text Msg appears in the display along with the closed envelope icon ( ). The date and time of the message also appear in the display. • Press the left soft key ( ) Ignore to return the phone to standby mode. The message is saved to your inbox where you can view it later. • Press the right soft key ( ) View to open the message, where you have the option to Reply, Forward, Delete, Save Address, Save Text, or Save Msg. Receive messages while in a call When you receive a message while in a call, the New Message dialog box appears in the display along with the closed envelope icon ( ). When you receive a message in standby mode, the message
