Erase individual phonebook entries 1. In standby mode, press the left soft key ( ) Menu. 2. Press (Phonebook), (Find). 3. Use the left/right navigation keys to display the search method that you want to use (By Name, By Group, etc.). 4. Enter information to find the entry, or use the navigation key to highlight the entry that you want to erase, then press . 5. Once the entry is highlighted, press the left soft key ( ) Option. A pop-up menu displays Edit and Delete. 6. Use the navigation key to highlight Delete, then press . A confirmation screen displays. 7. Press the left soft key ( ) Yes to delete the entry, or Press the right soft key ( ) No to return to the Phonebook menu. Speed dialing Speed dialing allows you to press and hold a key (or keys) to dial the number associated with those key(s). There are three types of speed dialing; 1-touch, 2-touch, and 3-touch dialing. is reserved for voicemail, but it can be edited.
