50 Deploying Symantec pcAnywhere custom installations Deploying installation packages using Web-based deployment Customizing Start.htm The parameters in the Start.htm file contain information about the Web server and the location of the files that need to be installed. The configuration parameters are located near the bottom of the Start.htm file, inside the tags. Table 3-2 describes the configuration parameters. Table 3-2 Start.htm configuration parameters and values Parameter Value ServerName The name of the server that contains the installation source files. You can use Hostname, IP address, or NetBIOS name. The source files must reside on an HTTP Web server. VirtualHomeDirectory The virtual directory of the HTTP server that contains the installation source files (for example, Deploy\Webinst). ConfigFile The file name of the Files.ini file. The default value for this parameter does not need to be changed unless you have renamed Files.ini. ProductFolderName The subdirectory that contains the source files to be downloaded locally. This subdirectory contains the package and Files.ini (for example, Webinst). MinDiskSpaceInMB The minimum hard disk space requirement. The default value is appropriate. ProductAbbreviation The abbreviation for the product. The default value is appropriate. To customize Start.htm 1 In a text editor, open Start.htm. 2 Search for the tags and type the correct values. See Table 3-2 on page 50. 3 Save and close the file. Customizing Files.ini for package deployment Modify Files.ini to contain the name of the package executable file that you want to deploy. Additional information is required to support MSI deployment. See "Customizing Files.ini for MSI deployment" on page 51.

Customizing Start.htm
The parameters in the Start.htm file contain information about the Web server
and the location of the files that need to be installed. The configuration parameters
are located near the bottom of the Start.htm file, inside the <object> tags.
