Introduction Multimedia Sound system Video-out jack (S-Video) Headphone jack Microphone jack Windows sound system compatible sound system provides internal speakers and microphone as well as jacks for an external microphone and headphone. This jack lets you transfer video data to external devices. Use an S-Video cable. Data output depends on the type of device connected to the S-Video cable. This jack outputs analog audio signals. A 3.5 mm mini microphone jack enables connection of a three-conductor mini jack for monaural microphone input. Communications Modem LAN Bluetooth An internal modem provides capability for data and fax communication. The speed of data transfer and fax depends on analog telephone line conditions. It has a modem jack for connecting to a telephone line. Both of V.90 and V.92 are supported only in USA, Canada, UK, France, Germany and Australia. Only V.90 is available in other regions. The computer has built-in support for Ethernet LAN (10 megabits per second, 10BASE-T), Fast Ethernet LAN (100 megabits per second, 100BASE-Tx) and Gigabit Ethernet LAN (1000 megabits per second, 1000BASE-T). Some models are equipped with a Gigabit Ethernet LAN. Some computers in this series are equipped with Bluetooth functions. Bluetooth wireless technology eliminates the need for cables between electronic devices such as computers and printers. Bluetooth provides fast, reliable, and secure wireless communication in a small space. TECRA M2 1-8
