Handy Features 3 Set the Auto Power-off Time To save battery power, the camera turns off automatically after the set time of idle operation elapses. You can set this auto power-off time. When the camera has turned off due to auto power off, you can wake up the camera by pressing the shutter button, , , or button. If [Off] has been set, either turn off the camera yourself or press the button to turn off the camera settings display to save battery power. If [Off] has been set and the camera is not used for 30 min., the LCD monitor will turn off automatically. To turn on the LCD monitor again, press the button. Under the [c] tab, select [Auto power off], then press . Set the time, then press . 3 Setting the LCD Monitor Brightness You can adjust the brightness of the LCD monitor to make it easier to read. Under the [c] tab, select [LCD brightness], then press . With the adjustment screen displayed, press the key to adjust the brightness, then press . When checking the exposure of an image, prevent the ambient light from affecting the reviewed image. Also, setting the LCD monitor brightness at the center of the adjustment scale is recommended. 95
