Either a minor or a major alarm is triggered. • When the minor temperature alarm condition is met on the linecard or RPM, the fan speed is increased from 70% to 80%. • When the major temperature alarm condition is met on the linecard or RPM, the fan speed is increased from 90% to 100%. Over-temperature alarms are logged. Use the show alarms command to display the currently logged alarms. To display the pre-configured sensor thresholds, use the show alarms threshold command.
