LQ-2070 Service Manual 1. Abnormal CR Operation START Troubleshooting When the printer NO was powerd on, dose the CR motor rotate ? YES Dose the CR motor NO stop during or after initilization ? YES When you move the CR manually wih the NO power off, dose it move freely ? YES Is the Connector NO CN 11 connected correctly ? NO Check the resistance of the motor coils. See Table 5-3. YES Is it NO OK? Replace the C186 MAIN Board. Replace the CR motor Is the platen gap NO adjusted properly ? END Adjust the Platen Gap properly Refer the Chapter 4. YES Replace the oil pad mounted on the CR assembly. Clean the CR shaft, and lubricate the oil pad and the surface of the CRshaft. NO Is the YES problem corrected ? Is the NO Is CN4 connected correctly ? Connect the CN4 correctly. END YES resistance for NO the CR motor correct ? See table 5-3. YES Is the NO problem YES corrected? NO YES Dose the NO HP sensor work correctly ? See Table 5-2. Replace the HP Sensor to new one. YES NO Is the YES NpOroblem corrected ? END Replace the C186 MAIN board.
