Troub le shooting N o t e: To temporarily stop the self test, press the Pa use button. To resume the test, press the Pa use button again. 3. To end the self test, p ress the Pa use button to stop p rinting. If paper rem ains in the p rinter, press the Loa d / Ejec t bu tton to eject the p rinted p age. Then tu rn off the p rinter. c Caution: Do not turn off the printer while it is printing. A lways press the Pa use button to stop printing, and the Loa d / Ejec t button to eject the printed page before you turn off the printer. Make su re that A4 (210 × 297 m m , 8.3 × 11.7 inches) or w id er p ap er (su ch as letter size paper) is load ed in the p rin ter . 2. To enter hex d u m p m od e, hold d ow n both the LF/ FF and Loa d / Ejec t buttons w hile you press the Op era te bu tton to turn on the printer. Troubleshooting 7-5
