Switching Between Continuous Pa per and Single She e ts When u sing the tractor, you can easily sw itch betw een continu ou s paper and single sheets (inclu d ing envelopes or postcard s) w ithou t rem oving the continu ou s p ap er from the tractor. 3 Switching to single sheets To sw itch from continu ou s p ap er to single sheets, follow the step s below . 1. When you have finished p rinting on continu ou s p ap er, p ress the Te a r Off/ Bin bu tton to ad vance the p ap er to the tear-off p osition. (If you selected au to tear-off in the p rinter's d efau lt-setting m od e or the EPSON Rem ote! u tility, the p rinter ad vances the p ap er p erforation to the tear-off p osition autom atically.) 2. Tear off the printed pages. c Caution: t A lways tear off paper before feeding it backwards; feeding too many sheets backwards can cause a paper jam. t N ever feed labels backward with the Loa d / Ejec t or Tea r Off/ Bin buttons. Labels can easily peel off their backing and jam the printer. For information on removing labels from the paper path, see page 3-22. 3. Press the Lo a d / Eje c t bu tton to feed the continu ou s p ap er back to the stand by p osition. The p ap er is still attached to the tractor, bu t no longer in the p ap er p ath. Switching Between Continuous Paper and Single
Sheets
When using the tractor, you can easily switch between continuous
paper and single sheets (including envelopes or postcards)
without removing the continuous paper from the tractor.
Switching to single sheets
To switch from continuous paper to single sheets, follow the steps
below.
1.
When you have finished printing on continuous paper, press
the
Te a r O ff/ Bin
button to advance the paper to the tear-off
position. (If you selected auto tear-off in the printer’s
default-setting mode or the EPSON Remote! utility, the printer
advances the paper perforation to the tear-off position
automatically.)
2.
Tear off the printed pages.

Caution:
Always tear off paper before feeding it backwards; feeding
too many sheets backwards can cause a paper jam.
Never feed labels backward with the
Lo a d / Eje c t
or
Te a r O ff/ Bin
buttons. Labels can easily peel off their
backing and jam the printer. For information on removing
labels from the paper path, see page 3-22.
3.
Press the
Lo a d / Eje c t
button to feed the continuous paper
back to the standby position. The paper is still attached to the
tractor, but no longer in the paper path.
