12 SET MODE Sounds Standby Beep (Default: ON (to me:Alarm/High Tone)) [MENU] > SET > Sounds > Standby Beep Turns the Standby Beep function ON or OFF. This function sounds a beep after a received signal disappears, in the DV mode. •• OFF: D oes not sound a beep after a received signal disappears. •• ON: Sounds a beep after a received signal disappears. •• ON (to me:High Tone): Sounds a high pitched beep when a received signal that is addressed to your call sign (MY) disappears. When any other received signal disappears, a regular beep sounds. •• ON (to me:Alarm/High Tone): Sounds alarm (PiRoPiRoPiRo) when a received signal that is addressed to your call sign (MY) disappears. When any other received signal disappears, a regular beep sounds. LLThe standby beep sounds even when "Key-Touch Beep" is set to "OFF." LLThe standby beep output level depends on the "Beep Level" setting. Sub Band Mute (Default: OFF) [MENU] > SET > Sounds > Sub Band Mute Selects whether or not to mute the SUB band audio signal while receiving on the MAIN band, and/or sound a beep when a signal disappears on the SUB band. •• OFF: Turns OFF the function. •• Mute: While receiving on the MAIN band, the SUB band audio signal is muted. •• Beep: When a signal disappears on the SUB band, a beep sounds. •• Mute & Beep: W hile receiving on the MAIN band, the SUB band audio signal is muted. When a signal disappears on the SUB band, a beep sounds. LLWhen you set this item to "Beep" or "Mute & Beep," a beep sounds, even if no signal is received on the MAIN band. Time Set DATE [MENU] > SET > Time Set > Date/Time > DATE Manually set the date to between 2020/01/01 and 2099/12/31. LLThe day of the week is automatically set. TIME [MENU] > SET > Time Set > Date/Time > TIME Manually set the time that is displayed at the top of the screen. The time is displayed in the 24 hour format. When "GPS Time Correct" is set to "Auto," the GPS receiver automatically sets the time by calculating the received Universal Time of Coordinated (UTC) time and "UTC Offset." GPS Time Correct (Default: Auto) [MENU] > SET > Time Set > GPS Time Correct Selects whether or not the time data is automatically corrected by a received GPS sentence. •• OFF: Does not correct the time. •• Auto: A utomatically corrects the time by calculating the received UTC time and the "UTC Offset" setting. UTC Offset (Default: ±0:00) [MENU] > SET > Time Set > UTC Offset Sets the UTC offset time to between -14:00 and +14:00. Auto Power OFF (Default: OFF) [MENU] > SET > Time Set > Auto Power OFF Selects whether or not to automatically turn OFF the transceiver after inactivity for this set period of time. LL"AUTO POWER OFF" is displayed and beeps sound 5 seconds before turning OFF the transceiver. If you operate the transceiver during this period of time, the Auto Power OFF timer is reset. •• OFF: Does not turn OFF the transceiver. •• 30/60/90/120min: Turns OFF the transceiver after inactivity for this set period of time. 12-30
