WARNINGS Indication HEAD CLEANING REQUIRED! VTR WARNING (DEW) VTR WARNING (HARD) VTR WARNING (TAPE) Condition VTR operation and remedy Displayed in case of video head clogging. (Head clogging is detected and indicated during edit search in the recording mode and during playback.) Displayed when condensation occurs in the GY-DV300. Operation : Continues Remedy : Clean the head with the special head cleaning tape. ( See page 10.) Operation : Attempts to operate are rejected. Remedy : Leave the GY-DV300 with the power turned ON until the indication disappears. Displayed when abnormality occurs in the GY-DV300. Operation : Operation stops. All attempts to operate are rejected. Remedy : T h i s c o n d i t i o n c a n b e cancelled by setting the POWER switch to "OFF" and then back to "ON" again. In some cases, however, the tape may be damaged. Please consult the person in charge of professional video equipment at your nearest JVC-authorized service agent. The tape is cut.
