When a fax function is set to “Prohibited”

When a fax function is set to “Prohibited” in the function protection settings, it cannot be
used. If you select the function, the message “This has been set to disable the function.
Please contact an administrator.” is displayed. Press <Reset> to close the message.
When a machine setting or list is set to “Prohibited”

When a machine setting or list is set to “Prohibited” in the function protection settings,
the administrator password is required when using the function.
For example, when the registering of address book destinations is set to “Prohibited”, a
screen requesting the administrator password to be entered is displayed when <Setting>,
[Register], and then [Address Book Entry] is pressed.
Enter the administrator password, and press [Enter].
