Other Settings 1.6.2 Password for the Printer When connected to a network, you can set a password for your printer from the Remote Operation Panel. If a password is set, you must enter the correct password in order to change settings from the Remote Operation Panel. However, you can print without entering the password. A password can be an ASCII character string of up to 15 characters and is case-sensitive. The space character is not allowed as part of the password. 1 Click the MENU button on the start-up screen. 2 The Menu dialog box appears.
