Troubleshooting Status and Error Pages Status Page Below is the status page that is printed when NC-2 is first powered on and after it passes its self-tests. See Definition of Terms below. Unit Serial Number: The serial number listed on the NC-2 card. 2. Version: Version number of the firmware. 3. Network Address: Physical address of NC-2 used to install/configure the NC-2 in TCP/IP environment and identify the unit Ethernet traces. 4. Network Topology: Ethernet. 5. Connector: Type of Ethernet connection you are using. 6. Novell Network Information: Print server name and the frame type. 7. AppleTalk Network Information: NC-2 frame type and node number. 8. TCP/IP Network Information: Frame Type; subnet mask default is 255.0.0.0; protocol address (default is not configured, IP is not assigned). Use the status page to check if the protocols you are using are defined. If a protocol is not defined, first make sure the protocol is enabled.
