Jumper Settings Changing Jumper Settings Media Selection Jumper - JP4 The Media Selection jumper is changed only in rare circumstances when you want to make a Thinnet (10Base2) Ethernet connector, or when your 10BaseT hub does not support link integrity (10BaseT only). If you change this jumper to MAN (manual) for a Thinnet connection, you also need to change the Ethernet Interface Type Jumper. 1. To make the change, locate jumper JP4 on the board (see illustration below). 2. Remove the jumper from the AUT (automatic) setting and place it on the MAN (manual) setting, as shown. The Media Selection jumper is changed only in rare circumstances when
you want to make a Thinnet (10Base2) Ethernet connector, or when your
10BaseT hub does not support link integrity (10BaseT only).
If you change this jumper to MAN (manual) for a Thinnet connection, you
also need to change the Ethernet Interface Type Jumper.
1. To make the change, locate jumper JP4 on the board (see illustration
