NetWare Configuration Configure Using NetWare 4.x Bindery Emulation Using PCONSOLE Once you confirm the server has Bindery Context, you can configure the NC-2 using the PCONSOLE procedure shown below. Use the function keys located at the bottom of the screen to configure the NC-2. Configuring NetWare 4.0x Bindery Emulation requires the following steps: 1. Start PCONSOLE. 2. Select Bindery Mode. 3. Select Quick Setup option. 4. Enter the print server, printer, and queue names. 5. Enter the printer TYPE name. 6. Add to the print server and queue lists. Note: If you encounter any errors during installation, try logging out and logging in again. Start PCONSOLE 1. Login to the network as ADMIN, type PCONSOLE, then press Enter. When the Available Options menu appears, press the [F4] key for the Bindery Mode. NOTE: If you receive a message asking you to login to a server with Bindery connections, that server may not have its Bindery Mode enabled. Configure Using NetWare 4.x Bindery Emulation
Using
PCONSOLE
Once you confirm the server has Bindery Context, you can configure the
NC-2 using the PCONSOLE procedure shown below. Use the function keys
located at the bottom of the screen to configure the NC-2.

1. Start PCONSOLE.
2. Select Bindery Mode.
3. Select Quick Setup option.
4. Enter the print server, printer, and queue names.
5. Enter the printer TYPE name.
6. Add to the print server and queue lists.
Note: If you encounter any errors during installation, try logging out and
logging in again.
Start PCONSOLE
1. Login to the network as ADMIN, type PCONSOLE, then press Enter.
The screen below appears.
Select Bindery Mode
2. When the
Available Options
menu appears, press the [F4] key for the
Bindery Mode.
NOTE: If you receive a message asking you to login to a server with Bindery connections,
that server may not have its Bindery Mode
enabled
. To confirm the enabled condition, use
the Confirm Bindery Context procedure; otherwise, log onto a server that you know has
Bindery Services activated.
