Jumper Settings Changing Jumper Settings Collision Threshold Jumper - JP5 This jumper lets you select the collision threshold capability for Thinnet interfaces only, as shown in the illustration. The 10BaseT Ethernet interface does not use this jumper. The NC-2 is shipped with the JP5 collision jumper set to TXA. However, some networks perform better when the network cards are set to RXA mode for collision detect. 1. Locate the JP5 Jumper on the NC-2 board (see the illustration below). 2. Remove the jumper from the TXA setting and place it on the RXA setting, as shown. Changing Jumper Settings
Collision Threshold Jumper - JP5
This jumper lets you select the collision threshold capability for Thinnet
interfaces only, as shown in the illustration. The 10BaseT Ethernet interface
does not use this jumper.
The NC-2 is shipped with the JP5 collision jumper set to TXA. However,
some networks perform better when the network cards are set to RXA mode
for collision detect.
1. Locate the JP5 Jumper on the NC-2 board (see the illustration below).
2. Remove the jumper from the TXA setting and place it on the RXA
setting, as shown.
