Troubleshooting NC-2 Troubleshooting Make sure you have properly configured the NC-2 for each network protocol you are using, i.e., Novell, AppleTalk, and TCP/IP. • Enable all protocols you are using. • Use the Network Management Utility to enable the protocols that you are using with NC-2. Novell • For Novell, make sure you configure all NC-2 printers using PCONSOLE. You need to configure each printer you want to use. AppleTalk • For AppleTalk, make sure the NC-2 printer(s) are listed in Chooser. This printer appears as the NC2# 1 in Chooser (unless you changed it). All Protocols • Check the NC-2 status page to make sure your network protocol is enabled. • Check the NC-2 status page to make sure there is no error message. NC-2 Troubleshooting
Make sure you have properly configured the NC-2 for each network
protocol you are using, i.e., Novell, AppleTalk, and TCP/IP.

Enable all protocols you are using.

Use the Network Management Utility to enable the
protocols that you are using with NC-2.
Novell
•
For Novell, make sure you configure all NC-2 printers using
PCONSOLE. You need to configure each printer you want to use.
AppleTalk
•
For AppleTalk, make sure the NC-2 printer(s) are listed in
Chooser. This printer appears as the
NC2#<Serial number> 1
in
Chooser (unless you changed it).
All Protocols
•
Check the NC-2 status page to make sure your network protocol
is enabled.
•
Check the NC-2 status page to make sure there is no error
message. If there is an error page, follow the instructions on the
page to make your corrections and then try printing again.
