Troubleshooting NC-2 Configuration Checklist Workstation > Queue > File Server > Print Server > Printer • Using the MAP browser from the workstation, look under Proto- cols and Protocol Status to check the Print Server status, or to display the server's queue status. • Using PCONSOLE from the workstation, direct the print jobs to the correct queues, then check to see if the print job is in the queue. Use PCONSOLE to be sure you correctly configured any devices you may have changed or added. • Make sure the Print Server name is entered correctly as NC2_. If you changed the name using the MAP browser, be sure to change the name in PCONSOLE to make the change effective. • PCONSOLE Version 1.0 cannot be used to configure the Print Server. To upgrade PCONSOLE, contact Novell. • Use the MAP browser to access the Printer Management System and check the Uniport configuration. If this port is beingused as an output port, it must be enabled to receive print jobs. If it is not, use PCONSOLE to configure it. • Use the MAP browser to access the Printer Management System and update the password stored in the Print Server. The password assigned to the Print Server through PCONSOLE must match the one assigned through MAP. • Use PCONSOLE to verify that print jobs are being sent to the Print Server printer. Be sure the print jobs are in the print queue and are waiting to be printed. To check this, PCONSOLE must be in the Remote Printer mode. Troubleshooting 6-11

. If you changed the name using the MAP
