Settings Language The desired country and language can be set. After selecting and confirming your choice, the language selected will appear in the display. Tip: If you accidentally select a language you do not understand, select Settings and use the symbol to return to the Language submenu. Time of day Display Select how you would like the time of day to show in the display when the steam oven is switched off: - On The time of day always appears in the display. You can switch the lighting on and off or use the alarm + timer functions as well as open and close the control panel by touching the relevant sensor. - Off The display is switched off to save energy. The steam oven has to be switched on before you can use it. This also applies to using the oven interior lighting , the alarm + timer functions as well as opening and closing the control panel . - Night Dimming To save energy, the time is only visible in the display between 5:00 am and 11:00 pm. The rest of the time it is not visible. Display The time of day can be displayed in Analog (in the form of a clock face) or Digital (h:min). With the digital display, the date is also shown. Clock format You can select the clock format for the time of day: - 24 h The time of day is shown in 24-hour clock format. - 12 h (am/pm) The time of day is shown in 12-hour clock format. Setting the time Set the hours and the minutes. If there is an interruption to the power supply, the current time of day will reappear once power has been restored. The time is stored in memory for about 200 hours. Synchronize This menu option only appears if you are connected to the Miele@home system (see separate instructions). 139
