Cleaning and care Door Removal  Prepare a suitable underlay for the door, such as a soft cloth.  Open the door slightly.  Release the locking clamps on the hinges by pushing them down. Turn them as far as they will go in an angled position.  Using two hands placed on the upper edge of the door, push the door downward briefly. Before the door can be removed, the locking clamps on both hinges have to be released.  Danger of injury from the hinge guides! The hinge guides retract to the steam oven. Never attempt to pull the door off the hinge guides from a horizontal position.  Close the door until it rests partially open. Risk of damage to the door! The door handle could break off and the glass could be damaged. Do not lift the door by the handle. Make sure that the door does not tilt during removal.  Open the door fully. 154
