ENGLISH ESPAÑOL Using the CAMCORDER - Basic Recording Uso de la videocámara: Grabación básica Making Your First Recording 1. Connect a Power source to 1 the camcorder. (See page 26) (A battery pack or the AC power adapter) s Insert a cassette. (See page 49) 2. Set the device to CAMCORDER and set the power switch to REC mode. s Open the LCD monitor. s If the protection tab of the cassette is open, the words STOP and PROTECTION! will be displayed. s Make sure the image you want to record appears on the LCD monitor or viewfinder. s Make sure the battery level indicates that there is enough remaining power for your expected recording time. 3. To start recording, press the START/STOP button. s REC is displayed on the LCD. To stop recording, press the START/STOP button again. s STBY is displayed on the LCD. Making Your First Recording
Primera grabación
1.
Connect a Power source to
the camcorder. (See page 26)

2.
Set the device to CAMCORDER and set the
power switch to REC mode.

Open the LCD monitor.
■
If the protection tab of the cassette is
open, the words STOP and
PROTECTION! will be displayed.
■
Make sure the image you want to record
appears on the LCD monitor or viewfinder.
■
Make sure the battery level indicates that
there is enough remaining power for your expected recording
time.
3.
To start recording, press the START/STOPbutton.

REC is displayed on the LCD.
To stop recording, press the START/STOPbutton again.

STBY is displayed on the LCD.
