Section 11: Camera This section explains how to use the built-in camera and camcorder on your phone to take photographs and record videos. Using the Camera Using the camera module in your phone, you can take photos of people or events while on the move. Additionally, you can send a link to your My Album online to other people, set the picture as Wallpaper, or as a Picture ID image. Note: Do not take photos of people without their permission. Do not take photos in places where cameras are not allowed. Do not take photos in places where you may interfere with another person's privacy. Take and Send Photos The built-in 2.0 megapixel camera produces photos in JPEG format. Note: When you take a photo in direct sunlight or in bright conditions, shadows may appear on the photo. 1. From the Home screen, press - or - Press the Camera key. then touch Camera. Camera Options appear onscreen briefly, to set preferences for the photo. Touch the screen at any time to display Camera Options. For more information, refer to "Camera Options" on page 140. 2. Adjust the image by aiming the camera at the subject, then press the Camera key to take the photo. 3. Tap the screen once and touch one of the following: Important!: Setup ➔ Review must be set to On or 5 seconds, otherwise this procedure does not display the options listed in this procedure. • Send to My Album Online?: allows you to send the photo to My Album. • Record voice: allows you to record a voice note to attach to this photo. 139

Section 11: Camera
This section explains how to use the built-in camera and camcorder on your phone to take photographs and record
videos.
Using the Camera
Using the camera module in your phone, you can take photos of people or events while on the move. Additionally,
you can send a link to your My Album online to other people, set the picture as Wallpaper, or as a Picture ID image.
Note:
Do not take photos of people without their permission.
Do not take photos in places where cameras are not allowed.
Do not take photos in places where you may interfere with another person’s privacy.
Take and Send Photos
The built-in 2.0 megapixel camera produces photos in JPEG format.
