Temperature ranges When cooking with the cooking sensor, temperature ranges are programmed instead of specific temperatures. The cooktop has five temperature ranges Adjust the temperature Temperatur Setting e range 335-350 ºF 9 (170-180ºC) 230-250 ºF 7 (110-120ºC) 195-215 ºF 5 (90-100ºC) 175-195 ºF 3 (80-90ºC) 140-160 ºF 1 (60-70ºC) Suitable for frying cooking with a pressure cooker cooking on low heat, boiling cooking on low heat, soaking defrosting, heating, keeping warm The point when the water begins to boil depends on your altitude in comparison to sea level. If a dish boils too much or too little, the boiling point can be adjusted. Select C4 in the basic settings. Select the heating element. The basic setting is 3. Select the proper value for your elevation in the setting area. Note: these steps have to be done for each Cooking Sensor separately. Note It is programmed as follows Adjustment value C4 b c d* e f g h i j * Basic setting Altitude 0.Ć350 ft. (0-100 m.) 350.Ć650 ft. (100-200 m.) 650.Ć1300 ft. (200-400 m.) 1300.Ć2000 ft. To change the settings, see "Basic Settings" section The boiling point should not be modified if the cooktop is at an altitude of 0-1300 ft. (0-400 m.) The basic settings can be used, but if the cooking results are unsatisfactory, the boiling point can be modified using the basic settings. d WARNING: Even though the cooking sensor is off, the surface will heat up because a neighboring element is on. The cooktop must be switched on. 1. Place the food in the pan and add liquid. 18
