Switching off this function Follow the steps below: 1. Select the required element 2. Press the 0 symbol. The u indicator goes out. The function will be deactivated. The Powerboost Function Restrictions when using the Powerboost function Use this function to heat up the contents of the pan faster than by using the heat setting j. This function allows you to increase the maximum power level of the element in use. The Powerboost function may be used providing that the other element in the same group is not switched on. (See picture) For example, if you want to activate this function on element 5, number 4 (located behind it) must be switched off, and vice versa. If this element is not off, the letter x and heat setting j will flash on the element indicator; then it will return to heat setting j without activating the function.The same applies to elements 1 and 2. In group 2, the powerboost function can be activated at the same time on all the elements. (see figure). How to activate it Switching off this function 24 Group 1 Group 2 Group 3 Follow the steps below: 1. Select an element. 2. Press the POWER BOOST symbol. The letter n will appear in the indicator. You have now activated the function Follow the steps below: 1. Select an element. 2. Press the POWER BOOST symbol. The letter n will no longer be displayed and the element will return to heat setting j. The Powerboost function has been deactivated. NOTICE: In certain circumstances, the Powerboost function may be deactivated automatically to protect the internal electronic components of the cooktop.

The
Powerboost
function
may
be
used
providing

the

want
to

function

it)
must
be
switched
off,
and
vice
versa.
If
this
element
is
not
off,
the
letter
x
and
heat
setting
j
will
flash
on
the
element
indicator;
then
it
will
return
to
heat
setting
j
without
activating
the
function.The
same
applies
to
elements
1
and
2.
In
group
2,
the
powerboost
function
can
be
activated
at
the
same
time
on
all
the
elements.
