The

Powerboost

Function

Use

this

function

to

heat

up

the

contents

of

the

pan

faster

than

by

using

the

heat

setting

.

This

function

allows

you

to

increase

the

maximum

power

level

of

the

element

in

use.

Restrictions

when

using

the

Powerboost

function

The

Powerboost

function

may

be

used

providing

that

the

other

element

in

the

same

group

is

not

switched

on.

For

example,

if

you

want

to

activate

this

function

on

element

5,

number

4

(located

behind

it)

must

be

switched

off,

and

vice

versa.

If

this

element

is

not

off,

the

letter

x

and

heat

setting

j

will

flash

on

the

element

indicator;

then

it

will

return

to

heat

setting

j

without

activating

the

function.The

same

applies

to

elements

1

and

2.

In

group

2,

the

powerboost

function

can

be

activated

at

the

same

time

on

all

the

elements.

Powerboost

function

has

been

deactivated.

certain

circumstances,

the

Powerboost

function

may

be

deactivated

automatically

to

protect

the

internal

electronic

components

of

the

cooktop.
