Press the cooking sensor. 2. In the following 5 seconds, press the COOKING PROGRAMS symbol. The xk indicator lights up on the element display. 3. In the next 5 seconds, press the required program using symbols 1 to 9. The ___ indicator lights up. The program is now selected. The . symbol blinks until the set temperature is reached. Once temperature is reached, a beep sounds. Select the element and then press the symbol for heat setting 0. Place the frozen food item, for example, spinach, in the pan. Add liquid according the manufacturer's instructions. Cover the pan. Select the 140-160ºF (60-70º C) temperature range. Stir occasionally. Cook with little liquid, or a level below the reference mark. Always cover the pan When cooking foods that produce a lot of foam, also cover the pan. This saves energy. Cook the foods at the recommended temperature. When they have thickened, let the liquid evaporate at 175-195ºF (80-90ºC). Next time, use more liquid. Always cover the pan with a lid. This way, the automatic regulation works optimally. 22
