Finishing PCL paper source command Use the PCL Paper Source command to program a PCL print job to use a specific paper. The PCL decomposer on the Xerox FreeFlow Print Server Controller reads the paper source command and, using the PCL Paper Sources option in the Queue Properties and maps the command to the appropriate paper. The number code corresponds to the following PCL Paper Source programmed in Queue Properties. To program the PCL Paper Source, use the following guidelines: Standard: &11H Manual Paper Feed: &13H Manual Envelope Feed: &13H Lower: &14H Large Capacity: &15H Envelope Feed: &16H Tray programming Tray confirmation Tray confirmation selections control: • whether a confirmation pop-up window appears on the screen after a tray has been opened and closed • what attributes are assigned to that tray • whether the action is automatic or requires user action to confirm the programming change To set tray programming options, perform the following: 1. On the main menu select [Setup] 2. Select [System Preferences] 3. Select the [Stocks and Trays] tab Settings are system-wide and are applied immediately. PCL paper source command
Use the PCL Paper Source command <esc & 1 # H> to program a
PCL print job to use a specific paper. The PCL decomposer on the
Xerox FreeFlow Print Server Controller reads the paper source
command and, using the PCL Paper Sources option in the Queue
Properties and maps the command to the appropriate paper. The
number code corresponds to the following PCL Paper Source
programmed in Queue Properties.
To program the PCL Paper Source, use the following guidelines:
Standard:

Manual Paper Feed:

Manual Envelope Feed:

Lower:

Large Capacity:

Tray programming
Tray confirmation
Tray confirmation selections control:
•
whether a confirmation pop-up window appears on the
screen after a tray has been opened and closed
•
what attributes are assigned to that tray
•
whether the action is automatic or requires user action to
confirm the programming change
To set tray programming options, perform the following:
1.
On the main menu select [Setup]
2.
Select [System Preferences]
3.
Select the [Stocks and Trays] tab
