Removing the Cooling Fan Module 3 Align the replacement cooling fan module with the open bay and push the module into the RAID appliance until it seats completely. 4 Tighten the screws on the cooling fan module. Do not overtighten. The Fault LED on the front bezel goes out. Replacing a Power Supply Unit When a PSU fails s The alarm sounds. s The Fault LED on the front bezel lights up. s The system monitor displays an error event. A failed PSU should be replaced as quickly as possible to maintain power system redundancy. Note: PSUs are hot-swappable. 1 Remove the front bezel. See Removing the Front Bezel on page 3-3. 2 Turn off the affected PSU. 3 Squeeze the PSU's release latch. 5-5
