Gentle but firm force may be required to remove the drive carrier. 4 Remove the failed disk drive from the drive rails. 5 Install the new disk drive into the drive rails. 6 Install the new disk drive into the storage enclosure. See Installing Disk Drives on page 3-10. 7 Reinstall the front bezel. See Replacing the Front Bezel on page 3-11. The Drive Status LED lights up solid green if the disk drive is assigned to an array, and flashes green if the disk drive is unassigned. The Drive Activity LED lights up solid green. 5-9
