Installing the DuraStor Storage Subsystem Hubs Disabled In the following figures, the DuraStor 7220SS storage subsystem's two controllers are configured in an active-active dual-port mode with the internal hubs disabled. In Figure 3-44, two hosts are connected via two independent switches. Using external switches supports higher bandwidth, since the host ports are not required to share bandwidth on a loop.
