About the DuraStor Storage Subsystem The DuraStor 312R storage enclosure is compliant with version 1.0 of the SAF-TE specification. Under this specification, your external RAID storage subsystem is implemented as a fixed SCSI target ID, allowing standard alert detection and status reporting with the SCSI bus as the underlying transport mechanism. When used in conjunction with storage management software tools such as Storage Manager Pro or Disk Array Administrator, the DuraStor 312R can alert users or administrators to conditions requiring their attention. These alerts are in addition to the LEDs and audible alarms that are part of the DuraStor 312R storage enclosure.
