In this configuration, the daisy-chained RAID appliance or the host connection to Channel 2 provides the termination. SAF-TE Controller Card The SAF-TE controller card of the DuraStor 312R (see Figure 2-21) is installed into the back of the storage enclosure, just above the disk I/O card.
