To replace a PSU:

Identify the failed PSU and turn it off.

Remove the power cord from the PSU.

Grasp the PSU handle with one hand, lift the retaining latch
with your thumb, and pull the PSU from the storage enclosure.

The PSU fits tightly inside the storage enclosure. Considerable
force may be required to remove it.

Slide the new PSU into the open bay until it seats completely
and the retaining latch resets.

Reconnect the power cord and replace the security bale.

Turn on the PSU.
The PSU’s Output Good LED lights up, its Fault LED goes out,
and the Power Supply LED on the front bezel changes to solid
green to indicate normal PSU status.
Warning!
Damage will occur
if Fan Module is
removed for more
than five minutes.
